About
Your
Visit

Before the massage, I encourage clients to ask any questions or make requests to ensure their comfort. During the massage, if you need an adjustment in the room’s temperature or airflow, require more or less pressure, or hate the music – I welcome the feedback. Let’s all work to make the world a better place. I’ve created this space of healing and safety. Please refrain from bigoted, racial slurs, sexually suggestive remarks or advances during your session. Lack of compliance will result in termination of the massage session and you will be liable for the full payment of the session. Mindfulness matters.

Scope of Practice
The massage you will receive is for the following purposes: stress reduction, pain reduction, relief from muscle tension, and affecting circulation. I do not perform spinal adjustments or physical therapy. I do not diagnose or prescribe medical treatments or suggest brands of prescription medication.
Rescheduling
I require 48-hour advance notice when rescheduling an appointment. This allows time for someone on my waitlist to schedule in your place. If you cannot notify me to reschedule with at least 48 hours’ notice, you will be charged 50% of the rate of your scheduled appointment.
Late Arrivals
If you arrive late, your session will still end at the scheduled time so that appointments following yours can begin on time. Regardless of the length of the treatment received, you will be responsible for paying for the entire session.
No-Shows/Cancellations/Rescheduling/Inclement Weather:

No-shows

If you forget or consciously choose to forgo your appointment for any reason, it will be considered a “no-show,” and you will be charged the full rate for your missed appointment. If you paid with a gift certificate

Cancellation/Rescheduling

I require 48-hour advance notice for any appointment cancellations or rescheduling. This allows time for someone on my waitlist to schedule in your place. If you cannot notify me of a cancellation or rescheduling with at least 48 hours’ notice, you will be charged 50% of the rate of your scheduled appointment.

Inclement Weather Policy:

I understand that we may experience inclement weather anytime, as long as we live on Earth. Some areas in Philadelphia and Montgomery County may have untreated roads in the winter and flooding in spring and summer. Additionally, some people may face challenges, such as kids with snow days or early dismissal. I completely understand. I, too, am a parent with children in the Philadephia school district.

On weeks with forecasts for snow, ice storms, rain storms, or flooding in the area, you call 24 to 48 hours before your appointment to reschedule. This ensures your massage therapist can avoid traveling on unsafe roads to meet you for your appointments. The safety of everyone involved is of utmost importance.

Illness-related Cancellations
We can reschedule later if you are not feeling well. This is especially important if you have a fever, cold/flu, or unmanaged allergy symptoms. And, of course, if you were exposed to Covid-19. Please stay home. Fees for illness-related cancellations with less than 48 hours notice will be waived. No-show penalties still apply.
During Your Visit
Removal of clothing is always optional. If you’re uncomfortable, you don’t have to undress completely; it’s totally normal to wear underwear while having a massage. Draping is ALWAYS used during a service. If you are self-conscious about your body, we can come up with a plan to ease your concerns. Shaving, or waxing just before a massage is not recommended. And you don’t have to apologize or feel embarrassed. It’s only hair, and it’s a part of your body.
Please silence your cell phone during your massage visit to encourage uninterrupted tranquility.
Masks
I am happy to wear a mask if you have a compromised immune system. However, At this time, a mask is optional during your massage.
Minors
I welcome small children (under 18), but require a parent/guardian to be present during the ENTIRE massage. You can sit in the room or the waiting room I will leave the door to the treatment room opened.
Tips for Tipping
Tips are never expected, but always gratefully appreciated! The best tip of all is a client referral, social media check-ins, and or an online review on Google, Facebook, LinkedIn!
